Shooting for Scholarships a Hit!

The Louisiana Nurse Practitioner Foundation hosted its First Clay Shoot and Family Fun Day at Covey Rise this past weekend. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the many awesome sponsors, shooters, family, friends and Nurse Practitioners from across the state who participated. It was a HUGE success and all those in attendance had a great time. The food was excellent, the weather was bearable, and the rain escaped us. We could not have done it without all of you.

A very special thank you to Ellen & EJ Cavalier, Lynn Usie and Donna Wilson (LANP Houma Rep) who guided us throughout this entire process. We could not have done this event with them! Because of all who participated, we are now able to fund our new scholarship program and support 6 NP students and practicing NPs with scholarships towards their educational endeavors.  These scholarships will be announced at our LANP Conference in October.

Take a moment to view more of the pictures we captured of this fantastic event!

The LNP Foundation looks forward to doing this again and we hope you will become a continued supporter and advocate for Nurse Practitioners as we continue to provide exceptional care to our Louisiana residents!

Merci Beaucoup Mon Ami

May God be forever in our midst!

Kindly,

Betty Vicknair

LNP Foundation President
