Available LNPF Scholarships for 2023
Edna Treuting Scholarship Award
One (1) $500 scholarship will be presented to a registered nurse (RN) who is pursuing a nurse practitioner (NP) degree. A faculty member must nominate the applicant by submitting a Faculty Reference Form to the LNPF Scholarship Selection Committee.

Jayson Thornhill Scholarship Award
One (1) $500 scholarship will be presented to a registered nurse (RN) who is pursuing a nurse practitioner (NP) degree. A faculty member must nominate the applicant by submitting a Faculty Reference Form to the LNPF Scholarship Selection Committee.

RN Scholarship Award
Two (2) $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to two (2) registered nurses (RNs) enrolled in an accredited graduate or doctoral nurse practitioner (NP) program.

NP Scholarship Award
Two (2) $2000 scholarships will be awarded to two nurse practitioners (NPs) enrolled in an accredited graduate or doctoral nursing program.

Student Loan Forgiveness Scholarship
Two (2) $2500 scholarships will be awarded to two (2) nurse practitioners who have completed a graduate or doctoral NP program and have an outstanding loan related to their NP education.

*Each scholarship is a one-time monetary award given directly to the recipients. Recipients will be notified by email and scholarships will be presented at the annual Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP) Conference in October.
